as intoxicating
as you, and
turning away others
from me for you
and inevitably back,
to this nothingness
of serenity and serendipitious suffocation
rising;
suppered, sold, and spent.
i sit
and think
and think of you
standing
and listen
and listen for you
with no other scent but
the mix of salty sea spray
and melted chocolate - i breathe -
dipped
in citric honey, to
hold the tantalizing texture of this taste - luxurious - on my tongue
for all that the mind concocts without limitation.

i am of your nearness
the flooding tide of aged ambrosia
and the delirious intoxication
of you.

Wrapped in Goldlocusts of words
rain
up towards the evening stars and rising moon
dusk
a virgin gray,
still
yet
stands pure and removed, slightly,
and weeps
rose-cobalt, violet, with silver
for the becoming of nothingness
again.
and down
here, the small girl,
ringlets of midnight and raven's sheen
breathes
the chilled beginnings of frost
only she knows
enough
of thinks taken for granted
so forgotten
so remembering
grieves
dusks' fading farewell

sign decompositions

run down page
black ink
grayed
smears of nuance
melt
upon the organic image
festerings,
stabs of sun.

Magic stuff,

I have been thinking about doing something like this for a while... i can never quite come up with the right thing to write on my hand. Any suggestions? I feel like writing something a bit more upbeat on mine. Surely we don't need to be reminded to be unhappy:cry? That just happens naturally. Being reminded to be happy seems to me a more positive message.

Maybe i have misunderstood... wouldn't be the first time.

that day i just felt like i needed to sleep for a few centuries. up until the last few days, i haven't felt that old or worn for months.

i like to write "insolence" on my wrist, with arrows on each side. and draw a happy little star somewhere on my hand, sometimes. or just wrote a little "smile" or "smile for me" somewhere on my hand. that one makes people laugh.

and yesterday, i drew "i'm a happy little elf" on my boyfriend's elbow. to his dismay

i was going to comment on the composition, about the dead space on the top right corner. but the picture wouldn't work as well, if it were a tighter shot of the hand.
